Under the round moon's pearly sheen,
A thousand lights paint the night scene. Along the Ping's dark flowing way, The krathongs dance and sway and play. Fireworks burst in thunderous flight, Painting stories bold and bright, While down below, the offerings float, Each one a wish, a prayer, a note. The parade moves like a river too, Floats gleaming gold and silver-new. Through streets where people laugh and sing, Their joy makes all of Chiang Mai ring. Each flame that drifts upon the stream Carries hope, releases dream. While overhead the full moon glows, And peace like water gently flows. The city pulses, wild and free, In this night of revelry. As past and future gently meet Where light and water softly greet.

This video was taken in July 2021, when I cycled around Lower Seletar Reservoir. I started from Lower Seletar Reservoir Park along Yishun Avenue 1, then turned to Lentor Avenue. I then cycled along Yio Chu Kang Road towards Seletar Hills then made a left turn to Sengkang West Road and then crossing TPE to arrive at Seletar Aerospace Park. I then turned to Seletar West Link and ended at Yishun Dam.
As this is my ongoing practice with video editing you will see constant improvements as I try to learn this on my own. Do pardon me for all the errors in the video. Music by: www.bensound.com (bensound-beyondtheline.mp3) Feeding the deers at Nara Japan
